Costa Rica with Kids: La Fortuna and Glamping Dome

Costa Rica is a great destination to travel with minis! The beaches are beautiful, the rainforest is lush and adventurous, the country is family friendly. I packed up my three year old and our passports and took off for our first international destination of his little life.

This is how it all started…

I grew up in a big family. I’m the baby sister after three boys. We didn’t travel with a single mom and four kids. I grew up camping occasionally, but airplanes were reserved for special trips to see my grandparents. When I was 20, I got my passport and jetted off to study abroad in Australia. The rest, as they say, is history.

Now I teach kindergarten and spend school breaks traveling the world with my son! The world is a beautiful place. Don’t wait until your kids are “old enough” to start traveling. Get started now!
